When are these whiney little millionair so called athletes going to just play for the love of the game. The thing that gets to me is that they think they are bigger than the game, when are they going to understand Its about theFans. If it werent for us the "Fans" they would be working minimum wage somewhere packing meat or something. These guys have to learn that they are lucky gifted individuals that shouldnt be upset with the millions of dollars they are getting.
The players want to keep it the same, they don't want to gain more like the owners do. Strike date will be set on Monday, it'll probably be sometime mid to late Septeber.
Dude still, don't you think they are atad overpaid anyways. I mean the NFL and NBA comes nowhere close to what MLB teams pay guys (except maybe the Knicks) but thats it.
I bet this will be like every other time this year that the media says that a strike date will be set-they won't do it.
The players want to keep it the same, they don't want to gain more like the owners do. Also, in many cases, the owners are probably trying to lose less rather than gain more. In general, that's good business philosophy.
I don't care if baseball is losing money or not. To me it's about bringing back some balance to a league that has completely lost all it had.
