Kelvin Cato is playing on NBATV with Portland against the Spurs in 1999. I don't know if anybody wants to watch a pre-overpaidandlazy Cato, but you can.

Hehe... I just heard the commentator say "a hustling Cato." You really ought to watch this game.

Yeah, I know that, and I'm happy he's doing that. But I couldn't resist posting this. So Kelvin Cato, if your reading this, don't take this seriously.

Darn, you tuned in too late! At the end of the half, Cato was lighting it up, getting loose balls and giving a great effort!

BTW, lighting it up in this case means no points. :)

Until Cato PROVES he is not a lazy bum, he remains a lazy bum.

I heard Rudy is going to give Cato ten Kapayas for every missed pick n roll. Rudy was once an elementrary principal so them kapayas got ah sting.

700 posts and you don't know Kapaya?!?!!

There was a video clip of Rudy saying that a while back when the NBA was trying to get people excited by putting microphones on the coaches during games.

He said it because someone (I don't remember the details) made a nice play.

Obviously, BOOSTER means a little something else.

Francis hit a three against the Lakers on Super Bowl Sunday 2yrs ago and Rudy got so excited he said Kapaya. I think Cato was giving Shaq hell in that game also.

Not Francis but Cuttino Mobley hit that three. But the biggest play of that game was Cato's block on O'neal

Yeah, I heard that rumor too. He probably went to the fat farm with Mo Taylor and they switched to baked lays after smoking up.

you want CATO, just look up Kandis stats. I guarentee nearly simular carrer type stats in the future.

not good, but slowly getting better each year till a level of decent is reached. and honestly Cato is an extremely cheap starting center. not that any of them are worth it, but just thank your stars we dont have Big country

I didn't want to make another thread for this, so I'll just bump this up.

Game 5 of the 1986 WC finals is on ESPN Classic. (about 45 minutes in.) You can see the original Twin Towers, in Sampson and Hakeem, a young Hakeem at that. You can also see Jabbar and Magic. I also think this is may be the miracle shot game, but since I wasn't even born when the game took place, I may be wrong. I probably watch it.

Hmm... to make this related... young Hakeem is better than present Cato. Anyone agree?

*edit* well no replies, so I'm assuming no one has noticed. I guess I will make another thread, and leave this one as a Cato Vs Hakeem thread.
