    1. Yao-losing weight and being able to run and stay healthy. He's got every other skill you can think of.

    2. Brooks - drawing the foul in the paint and the pull up jumper after he gets his defender overplaying his drive.

    3. Martin - needs to send the entire summer with Shane learning D.

    4. Ariza - needs to learn the upfake, one dribble jumper, specifically the midrange jumper, 1000 shots a day. And for good measure another 500 catch and shoot midrange jumpers to go along with 500 catch and shoot 3 point jumpers. Has to shoot plenty of free throws to get his percentages up.

    5. Scola - not much to say here. He has a little hitch in his right elbow on his free throws. Should shoot 1000 FTs a day to get up to 80%+ for next season.

    6. Lowry - needs to master the catch and shoot 3-ball. He has got to learn to hit that thing. EVERYBODY plays off him for the drive when he catches. Him and Brooks should spend the summer together. Brooks teach him to catch and shoot and he teach Brooks how to draw contact.

    7. Battier - midrange jumper. He don't have one. He needs to learn the upfake, step inside with one dribble jumper.

    8. Hayes - finishing at the rim in traffic. Here's the drill. Set up three 8.5 foot poles around the bucket that each have a Y at the top simulating 3 7-footers in the paint. Chuck has to catch the ball and get the ball in the bucket in 0.3 seconds without touching any of the poles. 1000x per day.

    9. Jordan Hill - should spend the entire summer with CD and Rox should convince Hakeem to come to town and train with him.

    10. Chase Budinger - I'm confident he will work on his entire game. He just needs to find pickup games to play in all summer against NBA players to improve both his offense and defense. Continue taking 1000 shots a day. He's great on that little curl play. Needs to add the fake, dribble, and shot to deal with overplaying D. Needs to work on cutting back door off overplaying defenders. Needs to gain experience handling at the top.

    11. David Andersen - needs to bulk up about 20 lbs. Work on the sky hook a little bit. Work on boxing out and tracking the ball when the shot goes up. He should have to do 2 miles of lateral movements a day back and forth.

    12. Jared Jeffries - CATCH AND DUNK! 1000 shots a day. Go up quick off the catch, stretch out that 6'11", lay on his defender and throw it down! Catch and shoot from distance 1000 shots a day.

    13. Jermaine Taylor - needs to work out but has all the offensive tools. Needs to spend hours going back and forth between watching video and understanding what he is supposed to do to fit into the offense better. He needs to study, study, study, and spend hours simulating games. He should spend the entire summer in Houston with the Rox staff to get drilled into his head player movement, offensive rotation, spacing, and drill down his game for efficiency. He needs major coaching.

    13. Jermaine needs to spend the summer dribbling with his left hand. He is so incredibly right-hand dominant, defenses can easily make him ineffective.

    12. Agree, lots of shots from 15 feet or closer.

    11. Agree.

    10. Chase is one who needs to practice hard at lateral movement for at least two hours per day and another two hours gaining confidence at shooting with a defender in his face. He gives the ball up every time there is a defender within three feet of him.

    7. Shane needs to jump as high as he can four hours a day while shooting mid-rangers at the top of each jump.

Jordan Hill needs to work on his hand strength, he's worse than Yao when he first came into the league when it comes to losing the ball.

Doing that drill 1000x per day would probably not leave any time at all for a life during the summer. Plus it would probably kill him.

Good drills tho. I'd probably cut it down for him to.. 900x :)

Although I'm quite content with our PG, I wish Morey could practice more on getting PG's with sufficient size during the off season.

That's more important than the post work with Hakeem.

If Jordan gets stripped or loses the rebound there is no chance to initiate a post move.

Every day, Thibodeau and Falsone would throw 50 tennis balls at Yao Ming to help Yao.

He also needs to get more overall strength and put on 10-15 lbs of muscle.

How about Hayes works on his FT's while he's at it.

The whole team needs to work on their defense, period. Some people before the season actually thought that the rockets were going to have an incredible defense this season with Chuch Hayes leading the helm, but didn't turn out that way without having a true shotblocker to anchor their defense.

The biggest flaw of all our players has to be Lowry's shooting. If he hits that wide open three or the pull up mid range jumper, he is a starter in this league. SHOOT, SHOOT, SHOOT this summer Kyle.

This team should work on trying to get the basket as opposed to trying to get a foul.
