Hah, It depends on what level of sevice you wanna get. I don't know the price in Beijin. But in Shanghai, It cost you 150 yuan at "hair salon", 380-580 yuan at "bathhouse", and the most expensive is at some clubs.

Go to MACAU and check out SAUNA 18 at the Golden Dragon Hotel in Macau is on the 8th floor. 70-120 HOT girls of diff. nationality walk around in a circle and you get to pick! Food, drinks, internet, massage .... and you can stay there for 15hrs! just sleep on the nice lounge chair they have and brush ur teeth/shower there. IS HEAVEN FOR A GUY! place feels like the Venetian. All workers make u feel like the "boss" there. I went there for 3days and didnt even need to book a hotel.
I'm looking for a ticket to Shanghai, yes  Is there any good websites out there for discounted tickets to China or good booking sites? Thanks
There are gazillion hotels in Beijing right now due to the Olympics. So I really don't know any one in detail save for the famous ones. The hotel says 4 stars, which means it's probably a bare-minimum 4-stars. It should have internet and all the good stuff. Don't expect anything exotic or extraordinary from Chinese hotels(commumism standardize everything ya know ). But they get the job done. I'd definitely expect internet service. That's not a problem in Beijing nowadays at all.
I was last in China a few months prior to the Olympics. Every hotel I stayed in had internet, but they charged from $15 to $20 per day for it.
I've found quite the opposite to be true. The nice hotels are much nicer than the ones in the US. I've stayed at four seasons and the W's before and it was nothing compared to the executive tower in the Hilton in Beijing.
You can always priceline and search for only 5 star hotels. You should get one for less than $100 bucks a night.
You stayed in a Hilton, which is not a Chinese hotel. There's a HUGE difference. What I was trying to convey is that a hotel in China(although Beijing's not nearly as bad as smaller cities) generally like to embellish their rating. This is not to say you can't get a great 4-star hotel advertised as such. Simply that it's possible to find one that's not the case. I agree that all things being equal(brand name, price, etc.), Chinese hotels are much likely to be better than American ones. I was giving him the pessimistic view of what he can at least expect. Because if you're looking for a cheaper place to stay than a Hilton, it can be crapshoot.
Stayed at the Hilton in Beijing two weeks ago. There are actually two of them, you wanna stay at the new one "Hilton Beijing Wangfujing". It is walking distance to Tienanmen, shopping, etc so the location is good. You will have to take a taxi to the Birds nest and Great wall. You can do both on the same day if you do not have much time. The rooms are great (yeah there is a TV in the shower/bathtub) i'd say 5 star quality since everything is pretty new. The service is also good. If you have time check out the artsy area in Beijing, it's called "367" or something like that, if you ask the concierge at the hotel they will give you a map. Have fun.
This does not look like a 4 star hotel The difference between this hotel and the Beijing Hilton Wangfujing is like night and day. The Hilton is a true 5 star hotel you will not be disappointed, trust me. especially if you are upgraded from the standard room. it is one of the best hotels i have stayed at and i travel a lot for work so I've stayed at a lot of different hotels all over the world.
LOL! only got one number right... couldn't remember and i was too lazy to google it. Thanks for the correction
Thanks for the tips everyone. I just got back in town today. Hit up the typical tourist stuff (Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square, Great Wall, Olympic Stadiums, Pearl Market, Silk Market, some area called Houhai, etc)....all in 3 days. The city is dirty as all hell but I still had a good time. Thanks again.
