This year's team won by committee, in fact, 09-10 Rockets is synomous with the word 'team' - but if you had to pick an MVP for this season, who would it be?

    Luis Scola.

    then AB.

Carl would be my MVP if he had stayed since he was the most consistent.

I'll go with AB. His emergence has been huge this season. HE has had rough patches, but overall I think he if any is the MVP.

    Not far behind is Scola

Pre-Valentine's Day, it's easy: Carl Landry.
Post-trade deadline, it's easy: Luis Scola.

But one half does not a season make. So it has to be Aaron Brooks. Right? I mean, there's no one else.

(Landry is the true MVP to me, but you can't give it to someone who left your team after the All-Star Break.)

    1.Aaron Brooks(Coming into his own)
    2.Luis Scola(Never gives up)
3.Kyle Lowry(Fights to bring us back/maintain,never gives up)
    4.Chuck Hayes(Self-explanitory)

    In that order

That was my logic, but I already regret not including Landry, since it would be interesting to see what the results were with Landry included.

    I'll say AB.

That's also the reason Rockets would miss the playoffs. Not enough talent. On the day AB becomes 6th man of the year, Rockets will be contender.

Aaron Brooks. Because, because.... the team has deferred to him in so many crucial moments, and for the most part he has done his best to own that moment - and persevere for Houston - for better or worse.

Okay, I do agree both Brooks & Scola have been the Rockets BEST players.

However, they have not been the most VALUABLE players, I think that award goes out to Kyle Lowry, without which we've struggled.

Brooks and Scola are still the better players though.

Scola is the hardest working and most consistent player

but the answer is AB. If he does not produce, the Rockets cannot win, simple as that.

I want to echo want pretty much everyone else has been saying. Scola has been solid all season long but Brooks is the MVP. When he scores and doesn't turn the ball over, they win. If Brooks is having an off night, they lose.

MVP is a hard thing to gauge. Battier is the heart and soul of this team. Brooks can easily shoot us out of any game-or win if he shoots well. Ariza too. Scola's contributions are consistent and expected, but we had landry earlier this season. Me, I voted for Tracy's expiring. That accomplished the most for us this season.
