So you think a healthy T-mac signed for the league minimum wouldn't help them win more with whoever they sign?I think he would help them.
And for all people who say its over between T-mac and the Rockets i ask this,Whats taking T-mac so long to do this again? <object width="480" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/pQKfqfN2k7U&hl=en_US&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/pQKfqfN2k7U&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385"></embed></object>
NYK is always getting screwed....see "Isiah" Why would we want to break a relationship with someone so willing to get screwed?
I dont mind. ONLY IF he comes off the bench OR plays small forward in limited minutes, which with his height shouldnt be a match up problem. If we traded Ariza say along with scola, we'd have better chances of securing Bosh or Stoudemire or Lee. My only problem is Ariza chose Houston over so many cities for ours, and trading him would be cruel (especially since he bought a house). He can hang with carmelo, Lebron and Durant in terms of physicality however in terms of speed, Grover better turn him into speedy gonzales or Usain Bolt's long lost cousin. If he's consistent and productive (which he sorta is in NY) why not? He'll make Les Alexander money and generate the team money by putting people in the lower bowl at the Toyota center.
I can't tell if the T-Mac advocates are naive youngsters or people who either don't understand English or the game of basketball. Tracy is a shell of his former self and while he may improve a little, he's on the way out and will never put up the numbers our current shooting guard is averaging. I feel like this is really a non-issue as a Tracy resigning will never happen so feel free to keep arguing.
I don't know why some people have hope he might resign here. He's a has been, player that doesn't know how to play team ball. There is no way he signs here. He might sign with the Lakers, Celtics or maybe Knicks.
It'd be funny, take Hill, take pics, dump 23 mil on them, take back that 23 mil$ asset for a minuscule cost and then draft a lotto pick 2 years in a row after polishing two championship trophies. Less funny actually cruel if things worked out that way.
You know its a interesting point. We have in past tried signing former Rockets players that were traded and those have not worked well for us. To be more specific the Francis and James reacquisitions did not work well for us. If we had a shortage in the SG and SF department then signing Tmac would be something to consider but right now we have many wing players, what we really need is a big. Bosh would be good but you may have to gut the team, Camby maybe a more realistic target.
