I wasn't ready to cop your philosophy, but after last night I think its time.

Sad though. Not the development of the young players, but losing "hope" for the playoffs.

Pretty much. Last night basically ended the season.

My running theory/hope was that we could win games against worse teams, and lose to better teams while San Antonio does the same. Then, if we beat San Antonio, we tie at the end of the season and steal their spot with a tiebreaker.

Unfortunately, many bad things happened last night:

    - We lost to an inferior team.
    - San Antonio beat a better team.
    - We lost Jeffries (which normally wouldn't be important if we had Battier).
    - We lost Hill.

All that combined really just ended the season. Pretty unexpectedly awful night.

Yeah, I'm sorry about that. I was very upset and worried about Hill and how badly he might be injured. The way the Rockets have been dealt the cards lately, I feared the worst (ACL, etc.), and still cannot fathom the brute unprofessional way the horrific Knicks broadcasting team handled reporting on it. You simply would not see that happen in another broadcast for another team. To think the people of New York are forced to listen to them beggars the imagination. It is New York City, for god's sake! There is better broadcasting talent selling programs in front of theatres off-Broadway.

For those dissing Aaron Brooks (Myopically I might add), he was good against Rose the last time they played.

Some times players have bad nights, last nigth AB struggled......it happens.

Box Score from last Rose v Brooks meeting both with 20pts.

Rose is the better player, but AB is not that much of a drop off, he just had a bad night.

Rose ate him up....Rose tore both Kyle and AB up, they both struggled mightily last night, AB worse than Kyle but neither looked all that great.

Isn't that the truth! I couldn't agree more. Brooks is not a Playmaker
With a team built around Yao we need a pass first point Guard, otherwise it was wrong to get rid of Steve Francis :p

Bulls commentators are hilarious. They're so biased toward the Bulls it's funny to listen to them complaining about every SINGLE call that was in favor of the Rockets. Everytime the Rockets get a charging calls...they keep saying it's a flop even though they never even get a clear view of the shot. They're so biased...it makes me disgust watching them. I never seen a broadcasters so in favor of one team EVER even if they're home broadcasters.

AB in this games reminded me of him in game 5 of POR vs. HOU. I remember someone mentioned Yao yelled at him after the game in locker room.

I'm sure being on the 2nd nite of a b2b caused most of this--not saying Rose isn't really good or anything but....
