Yeah, I must have really rubbed someone the wrong way. I was thinking about making the phone call back today, but every time I get close, Im completely b****ing out...I suddenly lose the ability to breathe, haha. I think Im just going to wait until tomorrow. I dont get nervous very often (other than being the last to be alive in search in destroy on MW2), but this definitely takes the cake for as long as I can remember. I'll let you guys in on what happens when I can muster up the courage to call back (or maybe I should keep it a secret so its not used against me again). But, I dont want to pull an Almu here either.
Libel? Eh... I think it's pretty crappy that someone would violate the BBS Code of Honor, but it would be damn hard to make a libel case against someone for alerting a board/school about potential ethics violations that you claim to commit. "Hahaha I cheated on my midterm! What? Someone told the professor I cheated on my midterm? GET MY LAWYER!"
Btw rez.. is it provable now that you're acknowledging that you received a call about it under the same handle that posted that you cheated? Doesn't seem like a good thing to do..
I take EVERYTHING posted on this board with a pound of salt and so I wouldn't personally have taken action based on what you posted here. That being said, you admitted a lot on here and apparently left some identifier in our signature. Are you really that surprised that it happened?
Well, I never said otherwise...but I still do say that every single person in the class has to do it at one point or another to get by. The system is built up that way.
I mean, I guess it cant be that much of a surprise... But on the other hand, Ive been posting here for over 10 years and it just felt like more of a tight knit community than anything else, so I am disappointed that it came to this.
yeah i'm saying, you were thinking there is no proof. But now you've come on here and said "i got a call from my university about it". So if they think they've called the right person and if they have your posts...then 2+2 = there is proof that it was you that posted it?

Considering that no one here has a vested interest in rezdawg getting busted (unlike his fellow classmates, professors, or colleagues), I find it shocking that someone would go out of their way to do this.
havent read the thread...but rez are you sure the call is about what happened here? did they say they just wanted to talk to you, or point out specifically something has came to their attention? i say just bite the bullet and call em up see what they have to say.
You assume of course. Perhaps there are other dental school professors here who felt a professional obligation?
Yeah, the message said that something has come to their attention and they would like to discuss it with me. It really cant be about anything else...Getting the call early on a Monday morning, when I havent heard from them since graduation. Im 99% sure it has to do with this.
Wow! Uh, I dont need any sympathy and this thread was dead...the topic was over and done with, I had said what I needed to say and others did the same. Man, feels like even more crap now when Im trying to deal with this and I have someone calling me out for making this up...do I need to give you proof again like I did with my schedule when you called me out on it?
