I wouldn't exactly call the Spurs "hot". They've beaten up on bad teams, but got spanked by Orlando and lost to Atlanta last night. Prior to that, their only impressive wins were Memphis (Mar 6) and Pheonix (Feb 28), and you have to go back to Feb. 11 against Denver for a win against an upper-echelon team. They're about to really get put to the test.

Lets see how this week pans out for SA. I see them on a 5 game losing steak :p We could pickup 3-4 games on them this week. Who know "Beat LA!"

its is cliched but the next 10 day is critical for the rockets if they want any shot they cant lose any of the games except the one against the lakers heading into the show down with the spurs at the end of the month. playoffs are still possible with the spurs still a bit hurt and a brutal end to the season schedule wise we may be able to catch up to them but we need to keep playing well and no more injuries please!

Portland has a pretty tough schedule, they play Dallas and OKC twice each i believe. This is the first and last time I am going to say this but, go Dallas!!

True, but I'm still pissed off about the Pistons and Kings loss!

Those 2 games were easily winnable if we hadn't choked down the stretch and wtih questionable officiating.

they never give us love, but it's true. we don't stand a chance unless por or sa completely falls apart. it's possible that por could lose 3 or 4 more guys this season to injuries, i mean we know their luck. and sa, duncan is like 43 with plastic knees, but they aren't going to fall out of the playoffs, too much experience and the big fundamental doesn't need knees to dominate

The schedule is about to bend San Antonio over. Fortunately, ESPN tends to ignore these sorts of things.

When we need our opponent's luck to be at it's worst, it will instead be at it's best. I see SA AND Por winning their games.

I think we have a very small chance. I think Portland has an easy schedule, so we won't catch them. But I feel SA and OKC will give us every oppotunity to catch them. I can see SA going 7-7 and OKC going 6-8 down the stretch, which means we would have to beat the teams we are suppose to and win a couple that we aren't. We will need to go 12-2 (loss to Lakers/Boston, or any combo of 2 losses). Then it will come down to tie breakers. I'm hopeful, but not holding my breath, because that is a lot of wishful thinking.<p>On another note, how would we play the Lakers, if we made the playoffs? Would KM hold Kobe or would he be on Ron Ron. Either way would would be in trouble.

Yea the Sacramento game and the Detroit game will linger for awhile. Not to say they actually "mean" anything more than a loss early in the year, but in a way they do.
