Anyone here a fan of the Rockets when it was in San Diego?

    I live in SoCal and know that the Rockets used to be in San Diego during the late 60s to early 70s. Is there any super loyal fans from there that supports the rockets even now?

    Weird you should ask this today as I believe today was the last day they played in San Diego back in 1971 before moving onto Houston.

    I was a "fan" of them back then because as a boy my dad had taken my brother and me out to watch Elvin Hayes and the Coogs at Delmar Fieldhouse. When Hayes got drafted by the San Diego Rockets, it was natural to be a fan... although there was very little to attach yourself to: no TV, little news.
