Divac changes mind, joins Yugoslavia national team, I duno if Yugoslavia will play China, but if it does, which means Yao will play aginst floper Divac. what do you guys think? http://www.sportsline.com/u/ce/multi/0,1329,5588018_54,00.html Divac "Realistically, we are the second-best team," Divac told the Sacramento Bee. "But you never know. Just like playing the Lakers, the better team sometimes loses." they call themselves a better team? they have not prove anything yet, but Lakers has won 3 championships. wait!!!!!!!! maybe he is talking about acting!!!!!!!!
LOL, it's so so soo amusing how some people deny the Lakers as the rightful champions. They've won 3, IN A ROW. People talk about how the Lakers got all the calls in game 7, but the Lakers, acting like true champions, didn't b**** about the calls the Sacramento got at Arco. Anyhow. I always thought of Yao as a taller, slightly more skillfull Divac. That's pretty damn good.
Something tells me that if the Rockets were up 3-2 on the Jazz and if Utah shot 27 free throws in the fourth quarter of an elimination game, you'd probably be pretty upset too. There's still a good percentage of people here complaining about the illegal pick Malone set to give Stockton his shot... five years ago. You can at least give them a couple of months to recompose themselves...
We all know Divac is the second biggest flopper behind Stockton, so his whining on the officiating is part of his flopping.
You do know that game 7 was at Arco, right? Of course, the Kings lost the series themselves, and would have regardless of the refereeing, IMO. We still shouldn't discount poor officiating, though. That stuff should really be corrected (and the new instant replay rules don't seem like they'll be that helpful). Yao and DIvac should be a good matchup because, flopper or not, they, apparently, have a lot of the same skills - both big passing, decent handling big men. I hope Yao learns to be both as crafty as Divac and as powerful as Shaq (for his size) as he matures in the NBA.
