Thought about searching for a thread about how much the iphone sucks ass, but I decided to start a new one. This Piece of **** phone will not charge via the wall charger, nor when I plug it into my computer, my computer doesn't recognize it. I googled it up and held the home and power button, and did all that. My phone's battery is now dead. It has that stupid power plug -> lightning bolt thing going, but it's not going. What did you do to get it to work? I just got this phone last June or July. Piece of **** apple.
make an appointment at the Apple store near you. Apple.com Genius Bar. They will replace the phone for free. Apple has Great support.
Great. So I have to take it to some Apple Dude to get it fixed? I rather get it fixed straight up instead of getting a new phone. Is there anything I can do myself to get it fixed?
It could be your usb charger cable...try taking it to the apple store and just plug it into one of their charger cables. If your phone starts to charge, then that is an easy fix...just buy a new charger cable there or on ebay for a couple of dollars.
This could be true, but I hope you tried the method I told you Kam. It's a genius way towards getting a new phone for free.
**** apple, and **** at&t. Are you still under warranty? I hope so. I want something like that to happen to my iphone so I can send it back to Apple and get a new one.
This happens to me sometimes...I have to let it die completely and then recharge it. It works for me...Good Luck
Just run down to Walgreens and buy a replacement battery - then pop it in and you'll be good to go. OH WAIT !
I ended up getting a new one yesterday at the memorial city apple store. Why do people just hang out there? I last backed up my stuff a month and a half ago?
Was that so painful? People like to hang out in the apple store because it's cool. Apple has great warranty service. Replace it on the spot if under warranty. Try that with ANY OTHER phone....without jumping thru hoops.
