My first post on Clutchfans! Awesome thread to start off with...
Anyway, McGrady scores 15 and dishes out 6 assists and makes Ariza look stupid on one play. After missing a three pointer in the latter half of the third quarter he'll start limping around and the Rockets proceed to pull away in the fourth.

Then the MOFs make threads such as; "If Tracy would have finished the game would we have won?" All the while one Rocket has a career game and it gets somewhat overlooked by the civil war between Rocket fans and McGrady fans....

Rockets win 109-98

 

I'll be shocked if McGrady doesn't have a 20+pt game. He will be supermotivated to play well. He feels the Rockets mistreated him for not playing him earlier in the season and not giving him starter minutes.

 

Don't you think Shane and Trevor will be just as excited to D up on him?

I think Trevor and Shane have the capability to shut him down. Especially since McGrady is not even 100% percent.

 

Tracy has been trying to save himself for this one. i can see a 27-7-6 type night, but the knicks are garbage and the rockets will win 97 to 87

 

game time is at 1:00 am

 

T mac will want to do something crazy because hes playing houston...He will come down from the rafters like Sting.. or Owen Hart (whichever you perfer). While about to land, he tears his ACL cementing himself from NEVER stepping on another court again.

Maybe this thread should be relabeled: Hill's Rockets @ Knicks 3/21/2010. It would be lovely to see Hill finally get some playing time in MSG!

I think that individually they do respectively. Since T-Mac doesn't have the explosiveness he used to have, the Rockets, like any other team, can get by with just single-covering him on defense.

Tracy is weird about situations like these...he might show up trying to just make sure he has a good performance or he cud just not even try to have a good performance kinda take the night off (afraid to try and fail).

 

Tracy loves the "Moment" all those terrible games he has had since his debut at MSG wont mean anything.. he will try to stick it to us and I think this will be his best game in a month.. (that isn't saying much though)

Love Hill but I don't think he has that attitude that screams "I'll show you!" I don't see him having a great game.. 4pts 4rebs ( 3 offensive ) I hope he proves me wrong though.

McGrady won't sugarcoat his feelings that the Rockets did him wrong, were dishonest and didn't treat him with the dignity afforded a perennial All-Star with five years of Rockets service.

"I felt, for what I did, I felt I was mistreated," McGrady said. "I moved on from that. But I felt I deserved better."

When he had microfracture surgery last February, the Rockets pretended he did it on his own.

"I kind of got thrown under the bus," McGrady said. "Not having the franchise protect me from things said in the media, nobody came out and told the truth. Like when I had my surgery, I notified the team. But in the media, they said I didn't say anything to the team."
