Yo Rez...I think one of the admins is playing a cruel joke on you. You're SUPPOSED to become a "member" after 30 posts and "senior member" after 300. Someone just changed your status to junior member...

    My money's on BrianKagy :)

As for the list, are these just rankings of starters? If so, that would mean that Daryle Ward would have two people below him, which can't be right...

How did Julio fall to 25th, his defense has put him at #1 or 2 in the NL this year and he hits pretty good for a SS. He should be in the top 20.

A-Train, the list is just for starters. The only people below Ward for left field were Rondell White and Roger Cedeno.

Also, its only taking into consideration offensive output. So, defense is not factored into this. That would probably move Ward lower on the list. Possibly the worst LF in baseball. :(

    Lugo is way too low.

Octavio Dotel is the best Reliever in the National League and maybe the game, 23rd my ass.

Definitely agree on Lugo. I wonder what pulls him down in the rankings.

I bet the relievers get credit for saves or something, so somehow all the closers end up above Dotel. That's ludicrous, but may explain it.

There are many things very wrong with these rankings. Berkman is a great hitter, but NOT a great CF. Lugo is WAY too low...there are others but those are the worst.

I dont think its a question that he is the best CF in baseball.

These are the guys ranked after him:
    2. Jim Edmonds
    3. Torii Hunter
    4. Bernie Williams
    5. Randy Winn
    6. Carlos Beltran
    7. Andruw Jones
    8. Mark Kotsay

Berkmans offense is the best out of these guys. His defense is more than adequate (he just had a great play against the Marlins too). I dont think its that odd that he is placed 1st.

Dotel should definitely be in the top 5.

Berkman is surprisingly good defensively. Not great tools, but nice instinct... and that bat can make up for a helluva lot.

I guess him giving up back to back doubles and blowing a save against Arizona kinda takes the air out of my balloon. :(
