Must defeat Evil Guys in Green!

 

This game is about energy, if we maintain "it" we will win, if we allow "the Ageless Wonders(Celtics)" to think it's 98, then we'll get in trouble...ok that was it, my first post,,,aaahhh feels good....how bout one of these..

 

HOUSTON -- It seems the Rocket's are cruising once again as they defeat the mean, green Boston Celtics 99-95. Aaron Brooks and Kevin Martin led the charge as their combined backcourt scoring totals summed up to a remarkable 62 points. Scola contributed with a cool, calm 20 points and 10 rebounds, while the combined defensive efforts of Shane Battier and Trevor Ariza contained Boston's Ray Allen to 12 points on 3-9 and Paul Pierce to 16 points on 4-16 shooting. Kevin Garnett gets a worthy mention in the game. Midway through the third quarter, the large Celtics forward was seen bawling on the floor after getting his big toe stubbed by Jordan Hill. Hill responded to Garnett's dismay by "gorilla dunking" the ball and injuring everyone within a two foot radius as he swung around on the rim.

 

Also leaving rending all within the radius causing 32 damage over 12 seconds.

 

I have a feeling Martin and Scola are going to go off this game... My prediction for our big 3.....

Martin 35 pts 6 rebs 8/9 FT
Scola 26 pts 12 rebs 4/4 FT

Most likely not even close.... But as long as the Rockets win... I'm going to say 108-103

Also, a Rockets game on NBATV, yay. I finally get to watch a Rockets game live and not in streaming quality.

 

If we can stop Robert Parish we have a chance.

Anybody know how Martin is feeling?

 

So what exactly does the flag represent or mean or how are you supposed to use it? I mean, do you guys understand that new fans, like myself, will have no possible way of understanding the significance of the flag?

From what I gather, people revere the flag as some sort of Rockets' Alamo of historic proportions, it obviously has some sort of significance that I don't get but do you understand that to new fans, it's just a banner with the Rockets logo on it?

Unless there's a sticky explaining this history of the Rockets' flag, it's unfair and snobby to lambaste new fans for using it casually in our unavoidable ignorance.

This is game is not impossible. But gonna be a up hill struggle.

102-100 Rox win on a martin three.

 

Celtics are a .5 team since the all star break. This SHOULD be a win, but with the rockets I don't know..
