    I've learned a few things over the years about making brackets, chief among them being that the more I know the worse I perform. That doesn't stop me from prognosticating though! Even though getting three upset picks wrong is going to hurt you points-wise in your office pool, it still feels so much cooler to have called something no one else predicted and then to later have it happen.

    Last year the calls I made that worked out were Cleveland St in the Sweet 16 and Missouri in the Elite 8. Of course I got tons of other picks wrong just to make those happen but man was it satisfying to see J'Nathan and a bunch of other ghetto guys from Cleveland St put the beatdown on Wake Forest (even though they lost in the second round to Zona).

    So anyways, here are my upset calls of the year:

    1. ODU over Notre Dame
    2. UTEP in the Sweet 16
    3. Utah St in the Sweet 16
    4. Wisconsin in the Elite Eight.
    5. BYU in the FINAL FOUR.

    (Also: I put Kentucky down as losing to their 16 seed, a team that I don't even know the name of. This is not because I believe they will lose at any point before the Elite Eight, this is because I would feel disgusted knowing that I received any points from a team that is going to have all their wins revoked in the next couple of years anyways. And damn would it be cool to still win my pool while having Kentucky out in round 1!)

    Well, Obama's bracket is almost EXACTLY like mine! Wtf!? I got 'Nova in the Final Four like him. Arghh!!

    Every single one of your "upset calls" was predicted by the ESPN Bracketologist himself, Joe Lunardi. He released his picks last night.

    What a coincidence that he has both UTEP and Utah State in the Sweet Sixteen, Wisconsin in the Elite Eight, ODU beating Notre Dame in the first round, and he even has BYU playing in the Elite Eight for a chance to go to Indianapolis.

    Hmm...haha I didn't look at his bracket before posting this! b*stard stole all my ideas. Well I dunno if that's a good or bad sign that we thought alike. I guess we'll find out soon.

    Vandy to the Final 4. That's right, I said it. Provided AJ Ogilvy doesn't play like a complete pansy. Actually, come to think of it, never mind, we're screwed.

    But seriously, I'll call Final 4 and then take all the heat after we flame out in the first round to a 13 seed... again.

    Yes, I am in fact, a Vandy fan.:eek:

    West Virginia beating Kentucky would not be an upset.


    Anyway Here is what I got.

    Gonzaga - Elite 8
    Washington - Sweet 16
    Utah St. - Sweet 16
    Houston over Maryland in the 1st round

    I got A&M beating Duke in Houston, Washington over Marquette, Minnesota over Xavier, GT over Oklahoma St.
    Those were my original upset picks.

    You know today i was gonna put that Texas would be an upset over anyone but i knew they had no shot tonight and im a huge Longhorn fan...i mean seriously an 8 - 0 run to start OT and you blow that sh-it this team has just been one of the worst this year...how do you start so well then just drop like that???
