    Who are 'you guys'?

I like having Chuck on the team, but I honestly can't wait till he gets subbed out in the first quarter. His offense is just too attrocious. I'd much rather seem him come off the bench for 10-12 minutes as already suggested, to put a body on the other's big and add some intangables. I like having Andersen available to spread the floor, and Chuch for defense as Yao's backup.

I don't think his current level of play will have any effect on getting a contract extension. It's all going to depending on trades and draft picks this summer to fill up the roster, and how willing we are to go into the LT.

I don't think a lot of people see the defensive impact that Chuck brings.
And thats not a cliche what I'm saying! This guy will defend your best big man without no problem and Rockets have huge problem when they are playing likes of Carlos Boozer, Aldridge, KG etc.
Not to mention that Hayes is such a complimentary to Yao when he's healthy.
So stop bashing him, give him some credit.

look I love chuck Hayes but he's not a starter in this league. I would love to see us come in with him situationally for defensive matchups off the bench but we've been getting slaughtered early in games because were startin a 6'6 center with no offensive game and let's face it...the better post players have been abusing him lately. His value to the team is still high but let's try startin hill at the 5 for some size and rebounding and maybe we won't have to dig out of defecits every game

Yeah, I don't know what the Rockets were thinking in offering Sac Landry instead of Hayes. Dumb Morey.
