to add on lets not forget marvin williams hype that led to the no 2 pick, and even oden was supposed to change the game and win 12 championships as he was getting bill russell comparasions from espn, yea he's been injured, but even when he played, not even close

Exactly. A player like Johnson has completely gone under the radar for the past couple of months but I think that he will no doubt have a brilliant NBA career.

I think a big part of it is also due to the school they attend. Wall and the UK players are living god's in Kentucky. To be honest i've never seen something like the Big Blue Madness they had this year. At first I thought it was a U2 concert...

Scouting reports are saying that Wall has more potential than CP3. The man hasn't done anything yet and he is already being auto-proclamed a top 10 NBA Player.

As I was saying, I have never seen a #1 pick being so hyped since Lebron James, hence the value of the pick.

I personally think Evan Turner should be the number one pick this year. Plus I think John Wall is overrated. I mean he's a great player but he's not the best player to take in the draft. I also think Cousins is the better player on that Kentucky team.

Who ever gets the #1 pick would be best served to draft Turner.

John Wall would have been the 1st or 2nd pick last year much less this year.

I watched this him play throughout the Big Ten tourney...he's going to be a STUD in the NBA. He has awesome ball handling skills for a SG/SF.
