    Anyway to recover a corrupted thumbdrive?
    I have one that is not being recognized anymore.

    It could that some of the connections are lose from bending etc. If you can rip open the case to the pcb. You will see the USB connector it should be soldered on there. Check from there to see if you see any broken connections.

    If you really want the data you would have to solder the nand chip and if it works hook it up to a driver to get the data.
