So the next time this happens, Calderon "accidentally" knees a guy in his mouth and the Raptors get to void his contract? maybe maybe no?:p

I doubt that will happen unless you have 40 inch vertical.

Well, with a short guy like Brooks, if he is close to the side line, you might be able to block him from behind. Or, what if a fan "fouled" the shooter, pushed him or tripped him up or hit his shooting arm? Would he get to shoot FTs?

You forgot the , otherwise people cannot see you are being sarcastic.

I think it is a bad play by the fan, and he should be punished for this. Maybe Calderon was out of bound when he jumped but maybe he wasn't. The fan shouldn't influence the game.

Otherwise these type of things can happen (ok it is a physio not a fan, but still)
    <object width="480" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/3ssP_gLvLUE&hl=nl_NL&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/3ssP_gLvLUE&hl=nl_NL&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385"></embed></object>

Like others have said what if it was a game 7 of the play-offs and the Raptors lose as a result of this move.

The ball wasn't out of bounds yet.

It would be hilarious though especially if it were a finals game  . It can be just like the T-Mac commercial where he had dark wings.

that play could had modified the final score, they were less than 2 minutes in the 4th quarter and the raptors losing by 4, so if they got the ball back they could had do something, the fans doesnt have to interfere when the ball is still in play.

The same thing happened in a Rockets/Lakers game in 98, iirc. It was in Houston, the mayor's wife in the front row stood up and swatted a ball that I believe Horry (then w/ LA) was running to get. If he didn't notice her, she would have been splatted.

They just resumed play because LA didn't happen to lose possession in that case.
