Is Their a way The Great Daryl Morey can get these players from this years NBA Draft?

    First we draft Jan Vesley with a our draft pick, then we trade our 2012 knicks pick+ aaron brooks to sacramento for their 2010 pick and draft Donatas Motiejunas.

    we would basically have two 7 footers with great potential that carroll dawson could work with.

    jan vesely is an excellent shotblocker, and excellent rebounder(he never takes plays off) plus he is 6'11 and only 19

    As for Donatas his upside is special(dirk like special), he is also 19, but i think with more ability. he can rebound, and is very hard to guard, pretty much not doing anything this year on his team in euroleague, but they are not using him to his strenths. very good shooter, triple threat players. he is playing center for his current team, in the nba he will be a huge small forward or power forward.

    if we get both of these players and develop them, we will have a huge frontline for the next decade and beyond, in reality i dont expect us to get both unless jan vesely slips in the draft( he has 3 more years on his euroleague contract with a huge buyout).

    but if we could get both i would personally name my first son daryl.

    The problem with drafting Donotas is he might not come play for us next season.

    I prefer some of the American talent that is in this draft. Cousins would be my preference.

    I would be perfectly fine with that, Donatas wouldn't have much of an impact next season. His talent level is just ridiculous though.

    Why would we trade brooks when they already have tyreke evans at PG and they tried having two scorers in the backcourt (martin and evans) and it didnt work? Giving up AB and our 2012 Knicks pick seems like it would be a huge risk

    I think we are in win now mode with yao on his last leg if anything. Lets get Bosh/Stat with camby/oneal to back up yao.

    I mentioned this in another thread, if Morey believed Lowry could lead next year's squad I'd call Utah and ask them what it would take for their #1(Knicks pick). They need a backup point and also could be on the verge of losing Boozer so possibly Brooks or Scola(Sign and Trade) could be intriguing. That would give you 2 lottery picks to either package in a trade for a player, move up in the draft or use to draft some dynamic young talent.

    For some odd reason, everytime I see a European drafted in the early rounds of the draft, I think he's going to be a bust.

    So you want the Rockets to trade Aaron Brooks and a future first round pick for a guy that won't even be on the team next season?

    If Houston gets rid of AB, they better be getting someone in return that can help the team right away.

    I think we may look to trade up, Obviously the first pick with be Wall, but I can see it becoming open after that, and maybe we could move up. Going off the thinking that Wall, Turner and Cousins will probably not be "available to us" I want the following 1 of the following 3.
