It's always good to add depth up front.

Good pickup, he was good in KC last year just overshadowed by a crummy team.

From Adam Wexley's twitter....#Texans sign OL Wade Smith. 16 starts as rookie in '03. 2 starts the next 4 yrs, just 18 over 6 yrs. He gets $4.25 g-teed, $12 overall. WOW!

Don't know if I am reading the tweet wrong or if Wex is wrong on this one but I thought he started quite a few games the last couple of years?

    ^^^^^^

All we need to do now is sign Ryan Miller and Sidney Crosby and we'll be set.

Why we need the Stanley Cup??

How the Texans can win it?? they changed to the NHL?? Or the NFL doesnt want the Lombardi throphy anymore, and now the trophy for the winner is the Stanley Cup??

I'm sorry but Pitts > Wade and I'm pretty sure we could have gotten Chester to sign at that price also....

maybe but Pitts is coming off pretty serious knee surgery so I think it's good to have a backup plan. Also, wade can play center as well.

david it's a matter of semantics really. we just need a trophy. the choice of a trophy isn't so important as the fact is that we need one. let's just bring the thing home and make the fans happy once again for Texans football. ya follow me?

Was there a paticular reason Thomas Jones signed with the Chiefs?

two years as a back up
    one year starting every game
two years starting half the games

"career back up"? Oh I get it; you're being negative just to be negative. My bad; carry on.
