The Rockets can't free up 1.5 million for Huffman? In a recent NBA Today broadcast, Rick Buecher or whatever his name is said that the Rockets could free up about 4 million dollars for Austin Croshere. Also, on the main page, it said that Huffman has a tattoo of the NBA on his arm, and that there's no question that he wants to play in the NBA. I mean why would you want to play in Israel when you can come to the best basketball league in the world? There's still a chance he might come here. i'm thinking to myself what would i prefer playing in the boring israeli league(as i mentiond before Maccabi wins just about every thing here) for "1 milion dollars" (dr evil style ) or play for less money on the same team with dream in the N.B.A well i know i will be willing to pay to earn the privilege of playing with 1 of the game's gratest Centers. i guess it's not as big dream as he said it is. but you guys should understand here if you play for maccabi you are being looked at as a god i mean when maccabi made it to the final-four in the euro-league about 100,000 pepole celebrated all night long i a square in Tel-Aviv (remamber there are only about helf a milion pepole living in that city) i guess it's hard to leave a thing like that and imagine making milion dollars a year (without counting the bouns for winnig titels) and being a god. i'ts a hard decision but i hope Nate will follow his heart and sign with the Rockets. ------------------ The holy land #1 rocket fan [This message has been edited by The Israeli Rocket (edited June 18, 2000).]
