I like it. But wont sit through the whole race.

I live in Alabama where majority of people watch it.

Texas has a track they race on yearly, so i was wondering do you guys like nascar?

I went to a race at Dover Downs a few years ago. Friend had tickets because he worked for Sunoco who is a sponsor. No joke I fell asleep. It was boring as hell and the sound of the cars kind of lulls you to sleep. People were leaving with 100 laps to go because Jeff Gordon had an insurmountable lead.

Tickets weren't cheap either people told me they paid $100 and more and yet they were leaving in droves.

Nascar is easily one of the dumbest spectator events ever.

Didn't watch it till I went to Dallas to see a race live. It really is one of the coolest things to do for a weekend. I would say the race is secondary to the whole spectacle of the party that goes on during a NASCAR weekend race. The food, the drinking, the sights and sounds are really something that has to be seen live. I'm not big on watching a whole race, but when it gets to the last 10 laps anything can happen and it gets intense. I get why people don't watch it, and don't think the drivers are athletes, but I put it on the same level as golf in that just as you can't appreciate golfers skill till you've played golf... you really can't appreciate NASCAR till you drive 200 mph up a 24 degree bank with cars within inches on all sides of you.

I watch it sometimes just to see if anything will actually catch my interest.

No but I used to watch F1 until Schumacher retired. Is Juan Pablo Montoya still doing NASCAR?

I always thought NASCAR was a joke..but I've been in the pits for 2 races in the last year and found it very interesting..Now, I'll watch a few laps on TV, but not an entire race. Plus, my company is now sponsoring a lower tier driver who will be racing in the Nationwide series for a few races this year..he's a great kid with a lot of potential so I'll probably watch those races. I understand the interest in NASCAR now..even though I'm not really a fan.

I hate Nascar. I guess you could call it a sport? But I wouldn't call the drivers athletes. 16 year old girls can drive cars.....they just do it a little faster, and in front of crazy redneck white people. ;)

I think I would enjoy it if I saw it live. Well it's all depend if there aren't any harmful exhaust coming from the cars doesn't travel towards where I'm watching. But I would never watch it on TV.
