OP, you tell us to debate on the substance of your argument, when your argument has no substance. Forgetting the base-level variables that can affect the outcome, with such a small sample size for your calculations equals to a huge chance for error. You honestly don't think you might be wrong on this one? Not even just a little bit.
WTF? How do trolling accounts like get posting rights? Only an idiot would take your so-called "analysis" seriously, not only do you not show your methodology for showing percentages, you totally take the future value of this trade (i.e. Hill, 2 picks) out of the equation. Whatever. Lock this thread please. Stupid thread is stupid
Your percentages mean nothing untill the amout of games before the trade and after the trade are equal. Then it still means nothing because part of the trade hasn't been used yet, like the draft picks. What if thoose draft picks are what gets us Chris Bosh? Also look at all the players we have out right now.
What is there to debate? I don't get it, what do you want to debate about? There is nothing to debate. The team has been doing horrible since the start of 2010. Getting another scorer, while also losing Lowry and Ariza does not help.
Others have already done a good job of pointing out much of the idiocy of your post, so I'm just going to add that Kevin Martin, who you believe is over the hill and already declining, is just 8 months older than the "young" Carl Landry.
Webster's Dictionary: knee-jerk-reaction Pronunciation: \ˈgit-ā-klü\ Function: noun Etymology: Middle English, from Anglo-French ydiote, from Latin idiota ignorant person Definition: One who formulates a conclusion from a small sample of data as well as failing to include other important variables. Example:
Maybe you don't get the cold hard facts but the trade was meant to get assests that will help the team aquire what they really need for next season's big push for the finals.
This thread reminds me of the fat chick who wears a bikini. At some point, she looked in the mirror and told herself that she looks good and should definitely go out in public. The OP came up with this idea that a minuscule sample size of games determines that the trade is failure, when it's clear to anyone with an IQ over 20 that it was for the long term, and decided to post his "statistical analysis". Typically, if you have to ask yourself if you should post a thread like this, the answer is almost always "no".
you forgot to breakdown who we got for those knicks draft picks and the value we CAN get from jeffereies expiring contract... oh wait.....
