    crawfish dishes
    shrimp dishes
    crab legs
    some fish
    steak
    spinach

... just about any vegetable, really.

Come to think of it, I didn't like anything as a kid, except cheeseburgers, pizza, hot dogs, and mac & cheese.

    Asparagus and Cauliflower.

Children have taste buds that are much more responsive to bitterness, and the smell components of taste are generally perceived much more strongly as well. That is the source of much of the change.

Blasphemy! Although I prefer green to black, so many cooking elements are derived from all mighty olive. What would the world be like without olive oil? A hell of a lot fatter for one. Baked green olives are great on a pizza or in a calzone (Paul's is the best), or the perfect garnish for a dirty martini or a Zing Zang bloody Mary. In short, I love me some olives.

Bok choy? That's the cabbage dish right? I can't handle cabbage in anything.

Curry. I couldn't stand it growing up. The smell gave me a headache every time my mom made it.

Now, it's one of my favorite dishes to prepare and eat.

I disliked Chinese food as a kid for some reason. But as I got older I loved it.

I've always had a big appetite so the dislike in certain foods was minimal, but I do remember not liking nopales. I love them now, especially since they are high in nutrition.

Ive always hated black olives, even to this day. They just ruin the taste in your food.

Sushi. Actually all raw foods. I thought raw foods were gross when I was a kid, that included salads.

I was a weird kid. Always liked vegetables and never had much of a sweet tooth. I drank coffee in elementary school and never had to develop my palate for things like beer. To the best of my recollection, my taste buds haven't changed at all. I'll pretty much eat anything that won't eat me first, and I've always been that way. I guess I'm still weird.

I can't put anything on the list, because everything I hated as child ... I still hate now.

Funny others have mentioned olives. As a kid I loved black olives and despised green. Now I can't get enough of green olives. I'll even put them and their juice in an ice cold coca-cola. Black I don't really like anymore, but I'll eat em.

Other foods I've grown to love later in life are squash, beets, greens, and buttermilk.
