It is AB's first year as point guard full time this season and people already want him out. Oh, how quickly we forget what he did last year starting the second half of the season and in the playoffs as well. AB is the guy right now with Ariza and his back up Lowery hurt so it's a bit added pressure on him to score even with Martin as it seems he still is adjusting. Just lookout next year when Yao comes back as Morey is setting us up nicely for us to be a top contender.

All valid points. It's hard to say. I think with Lowry and Martin starting though we would be in the penalty before the game even started!

I am anxious to see Lowry back, if only to give Brooks a break as Adleman has been playing him for on average of 45 minutes a game.

Why did we even sign Conroy to a 10 day contract if you don't use him to spell your only healthy PG from time to time? I don't think Brooks has had more then a 5 minute break in anything but blowout wins since Lowry went down. There is a key reason why a guy like Howard doesn't get hurt beyond his physical talents, be it because of foul trouble or otherwise he gets at least one ten minute break a game.

After last night game, the anxious about holding Brooks in starting lineup is much more than ever.

    We need him bad.

The Rockets are a glorified D league team.

Oh, you mean the game where he scored 25 points with 7 assists and 4 rebounds?

    That game?

Did anyone hear 1560 AM this morning? They tore up Brooks for jacking up 2 bad 3s. One at end of regulation and one at the end of overtime. Both were just horrible. Why wouldnt you drive to the basket and create for Scola or Martin?!

I hope ariza comes back and starts hoisting bad shots, so we can blame him instead.

I wouldn't say he needs to start over brooks i just think brooks is playing to many minutes at the point right now. Lowry use to give him a break at running the offense. Man i knew Lowry was important but i didn't think this would happen. When is he coming back cause we need to start running again and he is the best at pushing the ball up.

Of course Lowry is important, he is an excellent change of pace PG off the bench, a guy that can take the pressure off of Brooks and change the tempo of the games.

The Rockets need everyone to win this year, their margin is just too thin.

I totally disagreed with everybody saying Lowry should start but after these few games and last night Lowry is a much better team player and wiser with the ball unlike AB. AB is reminding me of Artest jacking up 3's instead of looking for a better option. AB turned over the ball at critical moments and kept gettin the ball stolen when he would go for a high crossover...

Yeah, to be fair though this is a new phenomenon from Brooks. Not sure if it's the increased minutes wearing on him, some growing pains with integrating Martin into the lineup, or something else entirely. He hasn't been this kind of a player over the first few years of his career, so I wouldn't expect to see it continue much if at all once his minutes come down into the 30s.....

Adelman will favor those who play well while on the court...so no need to worry who should start the game. But Aaron Brooks has improve so much this year that he should start just because he can shoot the lights out and he will be one of our offensive main unstoppable weapon because of his speed.

But don't be surprise if Adelman play Lowry under crunch time more than Brooks. Defense is what win games...

Exactly....It came to a point where brooks didnt rest at all in the 2nd half of a back to back?.....He had to be tired...

amd everyone complain about brooks taking the last shot, but I'd rather him take the last shot

    Last Shot:

If Brooks takes it: Misses the shot, but atleast we get a shot off

If Ariza takes it: He will mis handle the dribble, and lose the ball trying to dribble between two people...Wont get a shot off / Airball

If Martin takes it: Misses shot, but doesnt want it

If Yao takes it: Gets stripped while trying to dribble in the last seconds

If Lowry takes it: Not confident enough in his jump shot

If Scola takes it: Just throws it up, & gets ready to run in for the rebound

If Shane takes it: You seen last night
