    I've seen many auctions like this before...you're bidding on "info", not the actual products.

    In one way or another, its probably some sort of scam (either against you or someone else).

    I guess I'm from the old-school: I believe there's no such thing as a free lunch...

    These things are hoaxes. If the information were real, don't you think it would be selling at a much higher price and there wouldn't be so many of these auctions up? Run a search for Xbox and see what I mean.

    I never believed the stupid auction. I was just amazed that i actually had recieved some bids!

    Why the hell would the guy need to make five dollars for info. Shouldn't he be able to make much more money selling the free hdtv's, ps2, etc.?

    People who bid on this kinds of things are dorks.

    If any of this 'info' was legit, it would be available gratis all over the web...

    People would be distributing it via email, p2p, newsgroups, etc...

    Just like the ? mark guy, they make their money from people who don't want to spend it. Wow...that's ironic :)
