Serves this head case right. He should be banned from the NBA with how little his brain works.

Maybe the exhibition team known as the New York Knicks want to give him a 10-day contract. Or else he can get a shot at the Rockets' training camp roster next season.

Poor guy. And things were looking so rosy for him last summer. Keep your head up, Von!

I don't like the Mavs but I was hoping Von could stay on a team. Hopefully he gets another chance.

I remember on twitter someone asked him what if the Mavs didn't bring him back after the 10 days and he said there is always next year right?

    Good luck

Obligatory what about the Rockets...the way they're approaching the 10 day signings with Temple and Conroy, seems after Lowry and Ariza come back they're not wanting to pay for anyone the rest of the season.

Wafer really blew it by burning his bridge in the playoffs last season. Otherwise, he would have gotten a 2-3 year contract with the Rockets.

Rockets dont need Wafer. His beef with Adelman has vaquished himself from Houston.Wafer no more.

What ever happen to Romel Beck.Thats someone who I honestly would love to see make it in the NBA.Rockets didnt give him much playing time.He played too reserve.Didnt make much of the time of what he had.

The guys can ball though.I watched the Fiba Tourney, and the guy wrecked.I only give credit where credit is due.Hes just like Kevin Martin but he shoot a whole lot better.

If I need to get a life you need to learn how to speak correctly and I am now pretty sure you are Von Wafer.

You should be banned for this board due to your ignorance. How can you judge his intelligence if you have never even met the man or seen his worth ethic behind the scenes.

No kidding. I can't believe DD hasn't made his obligatory "Wafer better than what we have" comment yet. :)

Hindsight is 20/20, but it seems that from a career and monetary standpoint, Wafer should've taken our near-minimum offer and come off the bench again on this team. Could've parlayed that into a multi-year contract next year when plenty of teams would have cap space and not enough players to spend it on.

I don't think it would hurt to have both of them on the court. I think Kmart could actually run the point. He's a great player. I like Von, just sucks he got on Rick's **** list.
