Is there something wrong with Houston's air? I mean the rockets has always have health issues since Hakeem's era. When they acquire Barkley, Hakeem/Clyde then became injured and when those pair was semi healthy, Barkley became injured. It always seem like were a health away from being a contender. Even if Yao comes back he could be injure again when playoff comes along, same goes for the entire roster. Are the rockets cursed?
Hmm, let me look into my crystal ball..........................................................................and the answer is: Amberlamps!!!
I hope for better years after the Yao-era. I hate to say it but Yao will get injured again when he comes back and hopefully when we acquire a new superstar, that fella will be healthy.
and btw. fuc* you at all of ya who have no life and open threads like this...i mean seriously this is bull**** "are the rockets cursed?" go ask some magican sucka on the street
Just bad luck. It's not like players choose to get injured, so of course you can't blame Yao or any other player who is injury prone. **** happens.
If it is just a matter of statistical probability I would say there won't be an injury in the next twenty five years.
Because of Keith Jones Yao's not in a wheel chair missing the ability walk. He's a great trainer who's been here for ages and a great staff member. Oh btw your thread just jinxed our chanches of being healthy lol. (Bill Worrel: ...and aaron comes down with a mysterious foot injury with 5 min left in the 3rd!)
Siiigh it is rather frustrating. Part of sports I guess. Injuries have played roles in sooo many champions in all sports. I'm hoping Anderson becomes a viable back-up for Yao next season, who I'm most worried about for obvious reasons. Or bring in another legit 7 footer who can play a quarter and a half a night.
When you really look at it the medical staff should get some blame. Look at Phoenix, they're able to keep Amare, Nash, and Grant Hill healthy so anything is possible...maybe a change is necessary.
Statistics doesn't work like that. Previous history has no effect on the future. The probability of no injury in twenty five years is near zero.
