T-Mac is 10x better as a passer than our "point guard" Aaron Brooks. Could you imagine PG- McGrady SG - Brooks SF - Ariza PF - Scola/Landry C - Hayes McGrady plays PG on offense, but Brooks will still guard the PG on defense.
he looked great tonight, even better than the wiz and thunder game combined. he played freakin' 34 minutes and looked fine. he could have easily scored more had he not played PG most of the game. i think people have to realize that with the process coming back, there will be more bad nights than good nights. the positive thing i take from this is he never winced in pain one single time tonight (well i only saw the first half). he will get better. when next season rolls around, you'll see a more consistent mcgrady.
He certainly is playing like that at the moment, you got guards like House and Sergio and Walker on the floor with him at the same time. Today he looked better, his vision is certainly something we could have used, but i dont know about him running up the court ever so slowly. Next season will be a better measure of how good he is
I thought that's when he performs very well, with the ball glued to his hands and him taking full control.
Yeah he clearly hogged the ball by taking the least shots and having the most assists out of all the starters
Considering the pistons had prince and the other excellent defender in that white rookie on him. he destroyed prince and the other guy.
he's quickness is the missing peace for him!! but great game to many praise for him ha? where are the tmac haters? i dont see them around? well i bet when tmac next game is bad here comes the post of tmac haters again  no offened to all
Great nail that was 21 pts 8 assists 7 boards 3 steals 2 blocks on 6-12 fg 2-2 3pt 7-8 ft's. epic fail.
"The once-great Jeff Van Gundy always told me: When things aren't going so well for the team, your best player has to do something to inspire the team," McGrady said. "That's why I wanted to come out tonight and apply pressure defensively to whoever I was guarding and my teammates followed." Lol.!
lol, but sine wave is periodic, so if we play him every 2 pi, he will play this good every game? keep in mind, sine wave has no limits.
From a statistical point of view - McGrady seems to be bringing the culture of the assist to the Knicks - between just he and David Lee - they had 16 assists - 3 more than the whole Rockets team last night. Let us hope - for the Rockets sake - that next year Adelman or Morey can find a player to reinstill a team spirit that an assist is a good thing.
