This should be in the hangout cause there is nothing to debate here. I think every American owes graditude for people willing to die for their country.
I also nominate this thread to be moved to the Hangout, where it belongs as an utterly noncontroversial issue. In addition, it will get the attention it deserves in that forum as only the crazy political junkies inhabit the poo-flinging D&D. On topic, I can't think of a more noble calling than service to one's country. The people who choose to protect the rest of us deserve all of the accolades they get, even as they are often shortchanged by circumstances. Each and every one of us owes a massive debt of gratitude to those who are willing to lay down their lives in defense of the ideals of Freedom, Justice, and the American Way.
