The thing with that team is that they're not very good. So really, the best thing they can do is let Tyreke put on a show and give the fans hope for the future. Of course, getting Carl involved wouldn't hurt their cause with their fans either.

On wed. I hope Carl gets a great ovation from Hou. And I hope he murders the rox, but we still win.

Oh yea I hope he just kills jefferies on the floor

I hope I'm not stepping on any toes when I say I think alot of people miss that spark Carl had off the bench, even with Kyle out, he had that spark. With him gone, and Kyle still out, the bench just goes in and plays, and that spark is just not there yet. I would love to have him back, just for the fact he was a great reliable player, I even think if he was here, we would be that a little better than we are now because we wouldn't have so many new people having to learn Rick's system. I would love if in the draft we could get a big to back up Yao, somehow convince the Kings to take Anderson, and get him back. That's just my opinion, hope I didn't offend anyone.

On a side note, I met Spencer Hawes last year at an NFL draft party (he's friends with some kids I know) and I drunkenly asked him, how good are Yao Ming, Luis Scola, and Carl Landry!?!? And he told me that they all SUCK and they're weak. Now he's teammates with Carl, and Carl is obviously way better than that piece of *****. Wonder what he has to say about that now!

You gotta remember that you are totally entitled to your own opinion. Don't worry too much about stepping on toes or offending anyone. You are always more than respectful. You are right about missing the spark off of the bench, no Lowry no Landry no spark thus far. Good point

I don't think he'll be a king next season, he is free agent and alot of teams will come after him and offer him big contract, he deserve it though great person and great player...I really mis him :( :(

People here are r****ded if they think an EXPIRING Carl Landry is worth a Lottery Pick + an 8th pick of the draft.

What about Chauncey Billups when the Pistons won the title way back when?

Although he passed often, wasn't he a shoot first PG back then?

Carl is playing 10 more minutes a game and averaging slightly less points per game than he was in Houston. His shooting percentage is down 8% as well. Which, of course, lowers his efficiency. Incredibly, he's still ultra efficient. Sacramento and Tyreke would be best served to look for him earlier in the shot clock and let him create a little more of his shot instead of looking for him off Tyreke's screwy penetration and forcing him to take more contested shots at the end of the shot clock.

Interestingly enough, looks like Tyreke's stats have taken a definite surge since Landry has joined the team. Tyreke's averaging two more points per game and is shooting at a 54% clip, which is 8% higher than pre-Landry.

I would suspect Landry is going to get tired of being a decoy for Evans to get off more shots and unless things change in Sacramento fast, I would look for Landry to play out the string next season with them and move on.

Yeah he would have been really helpful, maybe pretending to cheer them in while he's living it up in Spain.
