[Video Game] Heavy Rain

I downloaded Indigo Prophecy from xbox live a while back.

 

I think its only worth a rental. Because by the time you explore 5 to 10 different endings, you'll become bored of going through the same scenes to get the other 10 or so endings.

My friend got a one week rental and has already been through 2 different endings in 4 days. And he's already said some of the scenes he has to redo to obtain the different endings are getting boring.

 

I wasn't aware that the supply of PS3's was so low.

I went to Best Buy and they didn't have any. Then I came home to look online and it seems that pretty much all stores are sold out.

While I don't doubt you got yours there recently, every Best Buy within about 100 miles of the Houston area seems to be sold out when I check availability online at this moment in time.

I think it's going to be a matter of getting there as early as possible when they get a shipment on Tuesday, which won't be easy since I generally work until 5:30 or 6.

 

Looks like a good game, I liked a lot those "chose your adventure" books.
and seems very interesting that if a character dies, you have to go without that character in the history.

 

Try a different store? BB sucks anyways.

 

Try the Sony store at the Galleria. I just got one last week for my gf and they had plenty of PS3's in.

 

When I said I looked online, I meant ALL stores. Even Canadian websites.

 

Played the demo this morn. I want it. Seems like just my kind of game.

Can you still get the demo -- if so how big is the DL ?

 

Yeah, I don't think there's an expiry on the demo. I think it was around a gig or so... Can't quite recall.

 

I like it some, but you have to do some monotonous stuff.

Overall, I give it about a 7 out of 10.

i d/l the demo last night, it's over 2 gigs. played it right before the usa/canada hockey game.

it's definitely unlike any other game i've played. even thought there supposedly are 22 different endings (like someone mentioned), i don't think i can sit through the "same beginnings" 22 times.

 

DL'ing now -- curious about this game for sure.

 

You have really missed out on the Uncharted games and Infamous.

These are games that you should play...immediately if not sooner.

 

You dont have to sit through the beginning 22 times, you can restart the game off of a particular chapter right from the start to skip all the other BS!

 

loving the game..but now the boy wont move hes stuck...i dont know if its a glitch or not...but im stuck right near the end

 

The demo doesn't really give you an accurate feel for the game in my opinion. It's a great game though.
