Of course he missed a bunch of games, but if we had him the whole year how many wins do we have?

He was injured for a good portion of the year, so I will say...the same.

Let us entertain the hypothesis that he was healthy. Surely that would garner at least 10 more wins?

I like your optimism but there is no way one player can increase a team's win by 10 unless they are a superstar.

Landry was no superstar and he won a lot of games for us. So I'm going to have to go with just about the same record.

we could possibly won all those close games, where we were up or down and the ball happend to be in brooks hands. i guess thats about 5-6 games, but im sure we could have blown some games too. with the losses and wins with martin i believe possibly 2 or 3 more

Keep in mind that Landry was a beast for us this season. Landry definitely helped us win many games.

such a dumb question. How many questions would we have if we had Lebron or Kobe is just as dumb.

He was injured for a while. So less wins than we have now.

It depends if his teammates (Lowry 'n co.) are healthy.

I say if everyone stays healthy, even without Yao, we could be pushing 40 wins with him. I'm factoring in him getting used to the team and the rest of the newcomers getting a hold of the system here and ready to contribute since the beginning of the season. Still won't make the playoffs though.

Your sample size is skewed by injuries to Ariza, Lowry, and today Battier(flu). Not to mention the fact that the team has been together for a little over a week as is. And Lowry still hasn't played with Martin.

It's always the "if" game with the Rockets. Frankly, I hate that game.
