This is where I stopped reading. Yeah, Esco is a good place, if your looking for some 18 year olds that are so drunk they cant walk straight. If you go, say hi to Mazin for me...
No, I named the places that actually have good looking girls there. I could not care less about the d bags around me bc I'm out for the chicks, ya dig? You know girls that have it together for the most part. There are decent chicks at even hoody places like Metropolis but I was assuming that Cham didn't want to be in that environment. There are plenty of bars..Rice Village, down Richmond & Westheimer, even off Washington but they just aren't as fun to me. When I'm in the mood to watch a game or something to that effect, I'll go to Pub Fiction, Sams Place, etc Honestly, I've only been to Esco a couple of times and it was a while back. The door guy is a douche and a half so I never went back. EDIT: Wanted to point out that Sawyer Park is more like a sports bar. They have live music and a nice view of the city from up top.
Downtown was the new spot...10 years ago. And midtown about 4 years ago. Washington Ave is the hot part of town now, but I am sure it will die a slow painful death just like those other areas within a few years. It's already full of many pretentious d-bags so it won't be long.
I lucked out and actually got a pretty great deal using my Starwood hotel points. 50,000 Starpoints transferred into 50,000 American Airlines miles + 5 free nights at a Category 4 hotel (Sheraton Tokyo). The roundtrip flight to Tokyo was 50,000 American Airlines miles, so it worked out great.
LSU fans are the biggest, scumiest alcoholics out of any fan base I have ever encountered. No regard for anything or anyone. 60 year olds shot-gunning beers, yelling and cursing at opposing fans' children, throwing bottles, cans, whatever they can, that awful accent, disgusting, unhealthy people. Again it's not even close, and it's well known, especialy among the SEC, that LSU has the trashiest fan base.
if you go to roppongi, there's everything there but there's nothing but non-japanese there. what do you like to do? what do you want to do? how old are you? you married? i can't really give you advice unless i know what kind of **** you like?
cajuns dude. i concur. i lived there for godsake, but there are many people there with class. don't stereotype people, makes you look stupid. that's like saying all houstonians are fat. the truth is, they're not, some are, some aren't. not all LSU fans are what you claim, some are decent people, hard working, intelligent, etc... we've won a couple of BCS' in the past few but texas has only 1. is this the reason for misguided hostility?
Who said anything about Texas? I'm pretty sure I was just making an observation. First hand experience. The majority of their fans that I have encountered follow under the categorizations I previously mentioned. Not even close. PS: I'm not a fan of any Texas team (other than the Rockets and Astros).
True to an extent but I still don't know many college peeps that look like any of these guys.. Spoiler Spoiler Spoiler Spoiler Spoiler However, I do recall a popped collar or two during my time in college. Spoiler
