The next time anyone gets the urge to boo at their own team.... Stop and wait. hold it in. Then wait for a ref to make a bad call, and then boo the shiet out of your team all you want.

The only reason I quoted you is because of your cousins quote. Sounds like typical philadelphia fans. As one Jimmy Rollins stated, "they are fair-weather fans" BOOM

You never want to boo your home team. It just shows how bad of a fan you are. If you are truly a Rockets fan, you try to support them as much as possible. Plus they were going against the Magic, the team that couldn't miss a three pointer.

Its stupid to boo your home team. You're there to support them no matter what. Its like if they're winning then you hop on the bandwagon and if they're losing, you hop off. A true fan wouldn't do that. If you find the urge to boo your home team, you don't deserve to be a true Rockets fan. Plus booing your home team wouldn't help at all. It would make it worst because sometimes it would break their spirits or lose their confidence.

So if you're a true fan, you support them no matter how much they're losing by. Its not like they wanted to lose, they were busting their ass off but nothing was going their way. They're human just like us.

When the Rockets quit on the 4th quarter I don't boo. I just get sad and let out a few tears. Then when I go home I get on a road raging spree.

If you are going to boo the home team, save your money and don't go to the games.

I think a team sometimes needs to get boo'd if they are playing without any energy or fire and getting their butts kicked.

A team needs to know when it's stinking up the joint and that it's fans don't appreciate the effort that night.

That being said, it should be very very rare.

    Whenever the suck
Booing is the second best way of letting the owner know you dont like the product. The best way, of course, is not showing up at all

And see how they responded to boos; they improved to a +.500 team. It may be time to start booing the boos, but remember, this is a fairly new squad and it takes time to adapt a new system.

In this video posted on Rockets.com, Kevin Martin told the press that he needs to get in "better condition because up in Sacramento we just screwed around, and here you have to push the ball."

i guess im not as good of a fan as the rest of you. once they're down by 20...start shouting all types of expletives...lol...j/k but i would boo. who cares what the other fans think, i pay my money just like them and i can express myself as long as im not being rude and i would. i do at home all the time. but no worries, i dont go to the games bc there's a possibility we could lose to the timberwolves on any given night which means we could pretty much lose to any team in the league at this point. cant support that with my money but i always watch...at this point i wish i didnt like them as much as i do but i love those rockets :(

texans teams are the definition of frustration....

texans teams are the definition of frustration....so its hard not to boo but i wouldnt, only bc i wouldnt want the other fans looking at me like wtf but in my heart i want to boo everytime they mess up which i know is just crazy. i just want them to succeed so bad but i think its fien to boo if they're not meeting your expectations.

i think it's ok, but when you've had the misfortunes that we've had, mcgrady, yao, etc... it's not the owner's fault, it's not morey's fault, it's not the organizations fault, it's just the way it is. we don't have the talent to compete, boo all you want. or even better, don't go to the games.

i just cant find any reason to boo this team.We may be losing, but this team plays hard and leaves everything on the floor and i just cant boo w/that effort they put forth night in and night out.

    This.

One of the things that have kept me a fan of this team is that they NEVER give up. They may get beat with superior talent, but they still keep working hard. That is a attribute that echoes my personal ethos, and I respect and appreciate it.
