I think the last piece is Bosh.......if we can somehow land him. The guy has a great bball IQ, and no past major injuries. That would be a dominating front court.......to say the least.

We have a winner with this post.

...no way someone should pay Hamilton 3 mil more to do the exact same thing as Martin but if it makes the original poster feel any better, your same line of thinking is what got Joe Dumars in trouble in the first place by overpaying Rip, then trying to solve the final piece of the equation by overpaying another player who does nearly the same thing as Rip(Gordon). You can look at the standings to see how that's working out for them...

Actually, that's actually a pretty good comparison. Both employ the "Run through 30943 screens to get a good jumper" player, both are athletic, both are pretty good dribblers, both shoot 3's, etc. Interesting concept.

If Lebron leaves the cavs we could probably pick up Jamison for free.

I wonder if Yao can play the high post, Vlade Divac-style? That might be the ticket. Yao "the Biggest Ticket" Ming.

Neither Rip nor Martin could defend a 3. It would be a disaster. I think we're settled at the 1/2 with Aaron/Martin and it would take a superstar for Morey to break up this combo. What we desperately need is a 7 footer who can play both 4 and 5. I like our chance of picking up a youngster with real size in this year's draft.

While we're at it, let's trade and get Peja.

We all know he did wonders in Adelman's system.

Yea but who's going to guard Kobe Bryant and Lebron James??? RIP and Martin don't play good D or have the size to match up with them. Defense win Championship.

Yeah, pretty much. Hopefully, the Rockets can figure out how to utilize Martin as well as Detroit did with Hamilton.

    Yep exactly.

I am disappointed in this thread, obviously Chris Bosh is the missing piece.
