 I consider comedy the following categories -

    Ad-lib (spur-of-the-moment, imitations): Robin Williams
Slapstick (willing to step on nails or make a weird bodily gesture or face): Jim Carrey, Jack Black
Smart Comedy (stuff that makes you think about why it's funny): Jerry Seinfeld, honorable mention to Eddie Murphy
Unoriginal Delivery (perfect timing and delivery of material others write): Steven Colbert, honorable mention to George Lopez
Offensive Material (aimed towards social, ethnic, and racial groups): Dave Attell, David Allan Coe

Every scene where he comes out in "Night of the Museum" makes me lose it, spill my drink, slap my knees, or hold my stomach. His presence alone makes me laugh when I think about the character he's playing.

He's my favorite comedian, but I'm not sure if he's the one to "unite the world". I'm not sure everyone appreciates dick jokes the same way I do.

I must say, I hadn't seen much of him before today, but I've been watching youtube clips the past hour - DAMN, he is HILARIOUS. Even funnier than Ricky's stand-up.

I saw this for the first time a couple weeks ago and it was probably the most I have ever laughed in 5 minutes.

Titus has some great personal stories from his damaged childhood and first marriage: a bit self-pitying, but entertaining nonetheless. They feel a bit more like one-man shows than stand-up routines. I wonder if he'll ever run out material since he's had a pretty decent life for a while.

As successful and lucrative as that guy's been; it just seems like he could've done a lot more if he wasn't such a cad. I really think he ushered in that post-Murphy wave of black comedians. The sexual harrassment stuff with his old sitcom was genuinely unsettling. That he made such a smooth transition into those cash-cow kid movies is somewhat suprising, but so is Ice Cube's success.

Yeah, I bought the Comedy Central special immediately after!

His character on Parks & Recreation is really funny too
I like that he acts as a redneck
