    Not saying anything about that chart but if an arctic ice sheet melts it will do nothing to the sea level as the ice alread displaces the water just by sitting on top of it.

    Now clearly any ice sheet that is over a land mass is different.

    Ya - that must be a typo. The west antarctic ice sheet is a viable problem - it has been detiorating for decades. Although IIRC the largest ocean rise I've seen accredited to it is ~5 m, not 6.

    I don't get it. Unless they are talking about all of NOLA but they break up London and NYC. Parts of NOLA are already under sea level.
