Shane's D last night

I decid a fair bit of last night's game just watching Battier on our defensive possessions.

I noticed that he seemed very very slow, much more so than in previous years. Did anyone else notice this or has he just been this way all season? Is he perhaps carrying an injury?

I have watched most of the games this year but haven't really paid particular attention to Battier, watching him chase VC around last night he seemed well off the pace.

Not a Battier bashing thread, I like Shane. I'm a fan. I'm just a little worried that if that is the usual level of D we will be getting now that he might not be an effective player on the floor for us.
