Ok this is probably one of the dumbest thread ever, but enlighten me as to which weekend day you prefer. To me I think Sundays are rad. I mean you just lay back, watch football, chill, read the paper, and just take it easy. Saturdays I am too high strung with all of the crap I have to get done.
For some reason, Thursday has always been my favorite day of the week. I'm not sure why, though. But between Saturday and Sunday, Sundays do seem more relaxing to me, as well. There's just no pressure to do much of anything. I don't even have to walk out to get the mail.
Sunday is a very easy, laid back day. When I used to work at Brookshires I always worked on Sunday mornings and just walked around the store sampling the products because there were very few if any customers and only 1 manager on duty and hes in the office doing payroll.
Is it just me or do you sense Sundays are somehow different than every day of the week including Saturday?...I'm not talking religion here (though I am a religious person), but there really seems to be a different feel, or sense to a Sunday...Maybe I'm just weird, but I wondered if this feeling is shared...
i like saturday's because there's more stuff to do at night. sunday is laid back but it can get boring. everything closes earlier too. if i had to pick a day it'd probably be friday though. the week's over and a relaxing weekend is ahead.
saturday...you can get trashed and still have sunday to recover...wait does that make sunday better...ah hell...
What the hell happened to the poll option? I didnt see it when I was posting. Also, Sundays just overall have a very somber feel to them. Its spiritual in a sense, but not overly so. People seem to be friendlier on Sundays. Am I the only one who gets pissed because all the stores close at 6 on Sunday?? I mean if Im a merchant, and I know that people dont work on the weekends, I would keep my store open till 9pm. This has always bugged the hell out of me because typically people dont have time during the week to run all of their errands.
I pick Saturday. You don't have to get up early for work and you don't have to go to bed early to prepare for work the next day. It is the ultimate day of leisure.
Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays. Sundays the best (I get my son on those days, and on Sunday, we go to church and to see my parents )
I like Sunday Afternoons. There is no feeling like those days to go out and play some ball in the driveway or park, or to the grassy field to play Soccer or football. THere is this grassy field near my house, and a **** load of people play soccer. It's mostly hispanic people. It's mostly old hispanic dads, and their 7 8 9 year old kids playing. I don't see no middle aged 12-24 year old people. I'm not that hot or dandy at soccer, I am okay, but I think i could go out and play better than them. Saturday is great, because tommorow is Sunday. But I like friday. Friday is the start of the weekend. It's great cause you can instantly do what you want after a long five days at school or work.
Saturday, cause you can do what you want and still have the next day off! Unless you don't have a M-F job. When I worked shift work, I liked to have Mondays off because everyone with a M-F job had to be at work on Monday!!
saturday...sunday u have to go to bed in time to wake up in the morning for work/school...plus, monday is rite after it and thats the worst day of the week. saturday u can stay up and party as much as you want.
Saturday most definite cuz sundays usually signify that tommorow i have school, but not right now cuz its summer vacation, only 25 days errrrr......
I like Sunday because it is a better sports day. We also have nice cooked dinners on Sunday in my house.
Saturdays, because those are the days when you can really relax after a long week at work/school/whatever. You also don't have the burden of the Monday to come unlike you do on Sundays...plus, there's a full slate of college football during the fall!
Friday. It's ususally a hecktic day, but knowing you have two days ahead of your own is so relaxing and exciting.
It just depends - Saturdays are always busy and fly by too fast. But they are really nice because you know that you can do whatever that night and still have another whole day to not work. Sundays rule during football season. During the offseason, Sunday just means that I have to work tomorrow, but at least I get an episode of The Simpsons, Futurama, and Malcolm in the Middle.
