Betterthanever, maybe u misunderstood what i'm saying. Adelman should give those guys those minutes every night. Hill and chase should play at least 20 mins a night. Its shouldn't be garbage time either. If they make the playoffs, good for them, but we need to see if chase can be the wing off the bench if we have to trade shane or trevor. We need to see hill to see if we need to draft another 4. Both players playing can help their value. Battier, scola, and chuck playing big minutes does 0 for this team long range.

ibm, i disagree about having a 1 and 5 positions as cornerstones to contention. There have been more cases in the last 20-30 yrs of not being anywhere close to the formula. Even the most optimistic fan cant predict how yao will play next yr. Best case, he plays 30 mins a night and avg 17-8. If thats the case, is that good enough to make up for the rest of the rockets holes? Also, what pg do you want that can be had?

Nobody passed him the ball either. When your supposed PG takes it upon himself to take more shots than anybody else on the team, this is what happens.

Aaron set a poor tone for the game, early on, when he threw 2 or 3 very lazy, sloppy passes. The offense never got on track and the 1st half was exceedingly sloppy. You want your point guard to be decisive with the ball, make smart passes, and not turn the ball over on simple passes.

The biggest problem was the energy level. Once the team started playing with a spark, the offense and defense looked much better. We can only hope they get back to the balls to the wall approach that they had for a majority of the 1st half of the season.

Budinger was still not himself in early January. In some games, chase plays more than 2 quarters(24 minutes). His minutes are increasing since his injury. For this month along he is averaging 24 minutes. For February, he played 36 min against Milwaukee, 31 against Miami, 31 against Orlando, 25 against Memphis, 24 against New Orleans and Utah, 20 against Golden State, 19 against Philadelphia, 17 against Indiana. If his minutes are increased 4 minutes again in March, He will be up to 28 minutes per game. If it increases again in April, he will be at 32 min/game.

    Check out the gamelog.

You didn't see the 3rd qtr when he finally asserted himself? he scored an efficiently.. And he was getting to the line at will..

We saw at the end of that qtr he can create his own shot.. Andersen wanted to give him a pick but he waved it away and crossed the hell out of his defender and got straight to the rack.. Dont bull****.. You know you saw good things..

It's funny AB has been racking up more and more assists but it seems like his playmaking is getting worse.

AB is just not a traditional PG, he needs a Vinnie Johnson type role on this team with Lowry running the point. That's how you maximize a guy like Martin with someone who can deliver the rock and play good D.

If you're going to trade AB you got to do it this summer his value is at an all time high. Looking at his stats and his salary any team would love to have him.

Move AB/Battier and some picks for Bosh, probably need a third team for the salaries to match. Maybe some people are still on the fence on this but when Lowry and Martin play together I think people will feel AB is expendable.

I sit in the upper level, so may not have seen this well, but it looked like the walking boot Kyle's been wearing the last few games was off, if anyone sits closer or saw him, would ya'll correct this, but if the boot is off, that has to be good news for the team, we really need him.

not to discredit anything k-mart did in the game, but once a game becomes that lopsided, the defensive effort really decreases. wouldn't you agree?

when lowry gets healthy i think AB should just come off the bench for a scoring spark against the opposing teams second unit. purely to score. i am tired of his speed that doesnt even lead to fast breaks. lowry just makes everyone better.

Kevin Martin is joke, give some of his minutes to Jermain Taylor, and why on earth did we trade Carl Landry for this guy?

As usual, there are going to be some fans that are quick to judge. They will always miss the big picture. If Martin gets 20+ shots a game, the Rockets win. Also, i think the more Hilton Armstrong or Jordan Hill plays, they will improve. Jarred Jeffries was a good pickup as well. It was good to see Armstrong get in early, but they should try to get Hill in early as well. Maybe together, like a new age twin towers. Wouldn't that be nice? Another interesting stat. In the past 5 games, Aaron Brooks is 36-86 from the field. Kevin Martin is 20-61. Martin needs 20+ shots a game!!!

Brooks was being wierd tonight, this isn't his style at all.. Even though I critize Brooks a lot for his poor decision makings, but he was never a ballhog or an unwilling passer like tonight..

The underwater "beef" between Brooks and Martin caused us the game tonight..

Sorry to have to keep noting this, if anyone noticed, but the Knicks, Kings, and Rockets now have a combined record since the trade of 0-9
