turrible. just turrible. i hope martin is still not affected by his injury. if we're gonna be any good, he has to get out of this funk.
Disgusting. You're a terrible fan that clearly doesn't understand that team chemistry doesn't fall out of the sky, that it must be earned through hard work and experience.
Well, could have been worse. The Magic are just a better team, and I do think the team is definitely having trouble adjusting, as can be shown by several faulty defensive rotations. However, it was interesting, and I actually think we could have won if we had Lowry and Ariza in. As it is, I think I'll go ahead and say that we should consider starting Jeffries. While it is understandable not to do so due to chemistry issues and the need to play as a team, I will say that I do think Jeffries is a slightly better player. Also interesting is Chase from my perspective, as he is improving and his defense on Carter was actually good, just Carter made some WTF shots. I would admit that if we trade any of our wings for Bosh or something this summer, I'd probably from first to last go Battier, Ariza, Chase, and then Martin. Chase definitely has a future with Houston now, and I think it is possible that given development he could become a border-line star. That would be nice. < Good. >
Can't really put too much emphasis on this loss. The Magic are the worst possible matchup for the Rockets without Yao Ming. Throw in the fact that we don't have Lowry and that we have pretty much an entirely new team and it spells for disaster. With that being said, it was good to see Martin finally start going to the basket more in the 3rd quarter. Unfortunately, after he pretty much got the Rockets back in the game, he hardly touched the ball in the 4th.
I'll give the team for coming back and making it competitive against this [sarcasm]championship team [/sarcasm], but we really need to get stops in crunch time...
AB is out of line taking so many shots, not even looking to pass. He needs to realize he is no longer the first option.
It did not help at all how we had Andersen on him for most of the 2nd half. Howard just abused the guy of course.
