They should just trade him already. He's obviously isn't happy with his role and it's been that way for the longest. He could probably get a starting job on the Hornets or something.
This is what happens when you stack too much young talent on your team. If I recall correctly, several players in the 2009 draft told Pritchard not to draft them when there was talk of him trying to move up (or something like that).
Rudy. I love Rudy's game. I would actually trade Ariza to get him and I'm an Ariza fan. I think Real Madrid will be able to pay him though. He's under contract for a while so I don't know how they'd do it.
Git 'r done Morey! I agree, they should part ways with him already. Seems he's been unhappy for awhile now.
I would have supported a trade for Fernandez, but I don't think there's any more room in our backcourt for another weak defender.
Yeah, we almost drafted him, I remeber but the blazers had the pick right before us. So we traded for battier. While I wouldn't mind rudy on the team. We don't need him now that we have martin. We have enough guards on the team.
No, It's when we drafted Aaron Brooks. Morey wanted Rudy but was 2 picks too late and the Suns got him. He wanted to make a deal with the suns but they decided to get sell him to Portland for cash.
Fernandez was drafted in 2007, we traded for Battier during the 2006 draft. Phoenix drafted Fernandez two picks before us in 07. Portland was never right before us in either draft. Fernandez was then traded to Portland.
I believe it's $3 million in cash + Portland using a Trade Exception to take James Jones's contract (3 years left for $9 mil roughly, I think). I believe PHX was close to the tax threshhold and essentially gave a 1st round pick to get under.
awwwwww man. i dont want rudy to go to spain. id stay in the nba were u get more attention and better contracts. besides, once rubio gets to be in the nba might as well go to the wolves if u wanna play with a spanier.
Not sure if Bud is better but the stats are quite similar. I think it may just be people not appreciating what we already have. Maybe it was those 2 playoff games last year where he lit us up and people think he does it on a daily basis, which is just not true.
Fernandez can cover the one. He's another look there as a 6-6 PG. The Rockets were/are looking to add another playmaking wing.
He's a pretty terrible playmaker from what I've seen. He's creative, but not good enough to break defenses down and create openings. Whenever I see him try to create in a half court situation, it usually ends up in him trying to make one his euro floaters. It doesn't end well.
