 Heads up, footballers! Some friendlies today to warm up to the World Cup South Africa 2010:

    USA vs. El Salvador
    6 p.m. tonight
    ESPN Classic, ESPN360.com, Galavisión

EDIT: WTF? Championship Boxing on ESBN Clasico? :( FML

Time to look at some prospects, maybe Bradley might consider a couple of the Dynamos on the team.

    Mexico vs. Bolivia
    10 p.m. tonight
    Telemundo

About half the final team will be there... Blanco will be on board... might play only half a game.

Also, Mexico will be playing a game in May 13 at Reliant Stadium against an unknown opponent. Tickets go on sale for Texans' season ticket holders on February 25th online.

I'll be rooting on USA...and Bolivia. (not just because I want to see MEX lose.....but my mom is Bolivian. :) ...too bad they suck.)

Gonna miss most of the USA game since I"ll be at work. Not going to DVR because it's not in HD.

It's a friendly so I won't put too much stock in it being competitive but it's always good to see the future of the squads.

I just want the Cup to get here already.

I'm tired of schooling my brother in FIFA 10.

I'm sure Bradley could have found a way to go with a worse lineup, but I'm not sure how. Yes, Perkins was the US keeper in the 09 Gold Cup final. How he's back on the team and still in the pool is beyond me. Marvell Wynne is just not a good soccer player...let alone on the international level. I understand the point of wanting to see these guys again and leaving the Euro players in Europe. It's just that many of these guys don't really deserve a chance at all.

I wouldn't be surprised with another loss tonight.

That's my problem...it's a "when he screws up", not an "if..."

I thought Cameron did a great job of holding the ball and was instrumental in engineering the second score... overall, I think the USA owned the game and Ching did very well with all those headers.

I agreed with Galavision's commentators: Miguel saved many shots and was the man of the match.

When El Salvador scored off that gimme errant pass back to the goalie, they threw themselves back and defended what could have been a more exciting game... but they made so many mistakes and USA didn't complete the counterattack. A nice showing by the USA.

Now off to watch My Mexico. Sucks Teledumbo has HD Novelas but no HD football. What a GyP! I want my money back!

Blanco and Barrera already showing their experience! Gol Barrera 3'!!

 OMG. 21st minute and it's 4-0 Mexico beating Bolivia, 2 goals by current FMF league scorer Javier "Chicharito" Hernandez, one by Braulio Luna. Good night everyone... I hope I don't miss a miraculous comeback by Bolivia. :(

Don't forget he played for the Dynamo when they were the Earthquakes b4 moving to FCD.
Artie's a cool dude, I played pickup a number of times with him. Glad he got the FIFA ruling sorted so he could represent El Salvador.
