That's awful and its good to hear that there aren't a lot of injuries. Except for the guy driving the van. Thanks for the info and stay safe.
What's with the out cry over the Jihad comment? Are we sympathetic to people who's one goal is to kill "infidels"? BTW, that picture of the burning van looks pretty crazy. Must have woken everyone up if they were having a slow morning.

We have no idea what the motivation was for this. For all we know this could've just been some catastrophic malfunction of the van.
The cry over the Jihad comment is due to the fact that there is no evidence or link established between the events that transpired outside of his building and religious motivation. Its just very saddening that a religion that does not call for violence is portrayed in a negative manner because of the extremities of a few. I for one am not and would not be too pleased if my religion was constantly portrayed in such a negative manner when something that is unrelated is compared to it. It's like saying anytime someone has been "had" or "swindled" in a business negotiation has been "Jewed". Another instance is saying that a person is "Indian" because they are frugal. Obviously, these cases are not of the same magnitude as the one listed previously, but you get the idea. I do not endorse any of the derogatory statements used above.
first there's no established link yet second, coming from Basso, he'll find a way to eventually blame the POTUS for this
yeah, bizarre how that happens. anyway, the van belonged to the wine store next door, not the cold stone creamery, so the ice cream comment was off base. clearly, it was the Jumilla Jihad, or the Barolo Brigades.
Didn't you say you went to work in some Arab country this past summer? Why go if their goal is to do what you say it is and how did you come back alive in such a threatening environment? Did you need security guards to cover your back?
