The disastrous AI sideshow probably comes to an end. Finally. Instead of helping himself this season, he actually added to the tarnish of being traded for Chauncey Billups. A crash & burn landing on a distinguished career.

Iverson went McGrady on the Sixers? It's not just practices anymore, is it Philly?

Can't they let him be with his daughter and then discuss his future with the Sixers afterward? There is a life outside of basketball too.

Why laugh at his expense for having a sick daughter?

No doubt and AI needs to get on with it, tend to his family matter and leave the NBA behind.

If the only reason for Iverson to miss games is his daughter's sickness, then the Sixers are extremely classless. I have a feeling that there is more about the strained relationship then his daughter.

Not even Derek Fisher misses this much time. I agree: no need to diss AI, but the Sixers also shouldn't be blamed. Suppose the girl's sick forever: just pay Iverson forever?

Jesus, his daughter's in a serious situation. How can you play basketball at a time like that? Sure it is his job and he has commitments to Philly but he has to make a choice. Family or Basketball? How would you make that choice if you were in his shoes? :(

Man, can't believe all yall haters out there! For Godsakes, the man's daughter is seriously ill right now! If your daughter or son was seriously ill, wouldn't you take time off work? Gosh, some people are either too ignorant or hold people to ridicuosly high standards!

I hate to moralize, esp. over Iverson. This guy is the definition of heart. But guess what, tragedies happen all the time....if you have a a contractual obligation to play, you man up (or adult up) and you play. If things are so bad you can't play, the respectful and right thing to do is call it quits, or take a definite time off and return with your head correct. Don't hold up the whole organization over YOUR problems

I would hate to see AI go out like Tmac over stuff that should be so simple.
