If all the Tmac drama didn't happen, and Yao came back healthy next year...we could have had this line up: Brooks/Lowery Tmac/Budinger Ariza/Battier Scola/Landry Yao/Hayes and we would have mostly needed to just go after a really good back up center for Yao in the offseason to, I believe, compete for a ring because our bench would have been so deep. Now with the trades and all, what is the best realistic lineup that we can produce for next year via free agency and/or trades, to try to put together a championship team?
I don't think we would have resigned Tracy. Brooks/Lowry Martin/Budinger Ariza/Battier Scola/Jefferies/Hill Yao/Hayes
Brooks/Lowry Martin/Budinger Ariza/Battier Scola/Landry (via trade) Yao/Hayes/Andersen/Jeffires/Hill/Armstrong
Maybe or maybe not on Tmac...it's mute now. But you don't think we will add anything to what we already have during the offseason? Or do you believe the team you listed is a contender? Who do you think we have a realistic chance at getting to add to what we have to make us a contender?
Lowery is a mute point? I guess it depends on whose ox is scored. As far as next year goes, I see S&Ting a big FA. With a $5 million TPE, plus the expiring $6.9 million contract of Jeffries, we can throw in a draft pick and bring back a $15 million FA. I'm thinking a hot SF would be nice.
  In the meantime, T-Mac is getting all the TLC in NYC that he wasn't getting from us. And we are debating among ourselves whether or not two scrubs from one of the worst teams in the Leastern Conference should be a vital part of next year's team.
Per my mention of having a TPE for the recent trade w/ NY-Sac, I got this back from Larry Coon on his facebook page (question 1 was about public access to a list of TPEs):
Morey will have more time review Amare's medical records. He decides to accept Phoenix's original proposal and tell them the Scola and Battier deal is back on. Brooks/Lowry Martin/Budinger Ariza/Budinger Amare/Jeffries Yao/Hill
