Why would any of these contending teams want him? He is garbage now.

I love LT but from what I've seen the past 2 season, I see no reason for him to be anything other than a #3 back.

Sooooo who's the #1 back in SD now? Surely, it's not the midget, Michael Bennett? Hell to the naw. I wonder who they're targeting in the draft. Turner Burner looks real good right about now.

Crazy how short RB's careers seem to be.

LT was a BEAST. Dude was one of the reasons I became a TCU fan.

LT is such a likeable guy, but if he puts on a Cowboys jersey it's all gone.

Wish the best of luck to LT. Oh, how the mighty have fallen...Hopefully he can get a fresh start and show what he still has left.

New Orleans has to be his best possible destination. He sucks as a runner now but the idea of playing next to Drew Brees could definitely prolong his career a couple years given his ability to catch passes out of the backfield. Plus, he could probably still do his one-yard TD + end zone dance that will make SportsCenter thing so people still think he's good. I can't even remember how many times I saw that happen last year.

    Jonathan Dwyer or Ryan Matthews.

    Michael Bennett is behind Sproles.

ooh poor baby... LT can play for the cowboys so he can try to catch emmitt in yards, is that why you dont him to play for the cowboys?

or do you root for the sucky texans?

yeah, inconceivable that someone posting on a Houston Rockets mb would be a texans fan.

cowboys fans...the 1990's are long gone

Dang this is so sad. Almost made me shed a tear. SD really should have let him retire a Charger. If he's good enough to garnish interest from the Pats, Cowboys, Packers or anywhere else he's speculated on going he's certainly good enough for SD. Maybe not as the number 1 back but definitely number 2. They should have released someone else at another position.

I doubt SD and LT could've come to an agreement.

And it's not like he has 1 or 2 years left, he'll be around 4-5 at minimum.

I place no blame on either party, it was time to move on.
